MALAYSIA'S quarry industry has been avoiding to invest in new technology for its operations due to short lease terms for their respective sites.
Primary Industries Minister Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik said a longer lease term should encourage the industry players to invest further in technology to improve efficiency.
"State governments should have a change in attitude that a hill is not only a hill but has great value in it.
