AUCKLAND, Feb 26 Asia Pulse - Air New Zealand Ltd (ASX:AIZ) has posted an increased first half profit but the airline warned that increased competition in the trans-Tasman market would impact earnings for the rest of the financial year.
New Zealand's flagship carrier, which is still pursuing its alliance with Qantas Airways Ltd, lifted its interim net profit by 12 per cent to $A94.14 million ($US72.44 million).
