Paulette Lewis of Paul Lewis Tire Centers had some practical words of advice for American Tire Distributor (ATD) dealers on how they can boost their business through getting customers to sign up for credit cards.

Though aimed at American Car Care Center (ACCC) credit cards, her system could be applied to any tire dealership.

Paul Lewis Tire Centers operates 11 retail outlets in the Jacksonville, Fla., area, one of the most competitive markets in the country. To compete in an area where steel belted radials are sold for as little as $6.95 and wheel balancing for 99 cents, Lewis uses some creative marketing ideas.
