The latest in a string of more than a hundred, Pitzer College CA will no longer require applicants to submit SAT scores if they have at least a 3.5 grade point average and are in the top 10% of their class.

President Laura Skandera Trombley announced the school's decision in an Op-Ed piece published in the January 18 issue of the Los Angeles Times, according to the online University Business Daily for January 22, 2004.
