Utah MTA welcomes ninety-seven new members who joined the organization in the fall of 2003. Performance evaluations, an annual statewide event open to piano students of all ages and levels, including adult and collegiate students, were held in October. A total 433 students participated, an increase of 80 percent over last year. Participants received constructive comments from the judges, and 20 percent were selected to perform at the honors recitals at the state conference.
