I always feel this is a strange time of year for us, as music teachers. Most of the world is thinking about new beginnings, with the new year having begun. But we have our new beginnings in August or September with the start of the school year. However, we do have an opportunity to get in on these celebrations by being sure we all vote in the MTNA elections. As with most volunteer organizations, the quality of our progress depends on the abilities of the leaders we have. Look at the slate of nominees carefully and be sure to send in your vote, or cast it online. MTNA needs your input in this way. ...
