Eastern Division.(Division News)
The Eastern Division is featuring the state of Delaware for this article. Delaware State President Jacqueline Faulcon is sharing this information regarding this small, but dynamic, state's activities.
The Delaware convention was held at the Wilmington Music School October 31-November 1, 2003. Featured artists included the Cab Calloway Senior High Jazz Choir, Delaware State University Choir and the University Singers from Temple University's Esther Boyer College of Music.
A panel discussion, "Sharing the Singer," was coordinated by MTNA Immediate Past President R. Wayne Gibson, NCTM. Panelists included Melanie DeMent, NCTM, C, Lawler Rogers, Martin Lassman, Elayne Soltz Penn, NCTM, and Joanne Ward.
A workshop clinic, "The Art of Accompanying," was facilitated by Benjamin Whitten, NCTM, with the assistance of Lotus Cheng ...
