How the old Jody just waisted away.

Jody Bunting is not half the man he used to be. He's less than that. He was always happy with his weight but then he decided to adopt an exercise regime that was to see him shed an incredible 18 stone. He tells JOHN HOUSEMAN how he did it.
JODY Bunting was renowned for his larger-than-life attitude to slimming. Even though he weighed more than 30 stones, he was a firm believer in exercise - so much so he ran fitness classes for large people.
His motto that fat did not necessarily mean unfit won him huge media attention. But now Jody has managed to shed 18 stones in three years.
Jody's life is a story of ups and downs. We're not talking here of inner turmoil, but physical changes to his body on a massive scale.
While most people put on a few pounds here and there, Jody has seen his weight yo-yo dramatically.
As a boy he was chubby, but during his teenage years he lost eight stones, and grew up to be a slim, young man.
