Bojonegoro, E Java, Feb 18 (ANTARA) - An Moslem leader said here on Wednesday that the recent Supreme Court's decision to acquit Akbar Tanjung of corruption charges was a strong blow to Indonesia's biggest Islamic organizations, the Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah.
Akbar Tanjung's acquittal was a painful slap on the face of NU and Muhammadiyah especially that the two Moslem organizations had only rcently signed an anti-corruption deal, NU chairman KH Hasyim Muzadi said in a religious sermon at the Islamic Center.
