Indian film 'Final Solutions' bags awards at Berlin Festival.

Mumbai, Feb 17 (PTI) 'Final Solutions', an Indian film which has depicted the communal violence that had engulfed the western state of Gujarat for months following an attack on a train in Godhra in February 2002, has bagged two awards at the 54th Berlin International Film Festival.

The documentary film by Rakesh Sharma received Wolfgang Staudte Award and Special Jury Award at the festival which concluded on Sunday, according to a release here.

'Final Solution' is the first Indian film to win the Wolfgang Staudte Award, instituted in 1990 in the memory of the noted German Director.
