Tripath Technology Inc. (Nasdaq:TRPH), creators of Digital Power Processing (DPP(R)) technology and Class-T(TM) advanced 1-bit digital audio amplifiers, announced today that it has been chosen for two new Panasonic car audio products -- the CQ-VD7700U and CQ-C9700U -- in addition to the CQ-C9800U, which was previously announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January 2004.
The CQ-VD7700U is an in-dash (1-DIN) LCD TV/DVD/SD Receiver with 5.1-channel Dolby Digital/DTS and Dolby Pro Logic II. It incorporates a 7-inch (diagonal) wide screen LCD with touch panel and a digital high-power amplifier (70W x 4 max.) supplied by Tripath.
