EES Express helps children learn about the postal system.(B SECTION)

Englewood Elementary School has its own "postal service" called the EES Express. Its slogan is "Wee Deliver -- Stamp Out Illiteracy." The postal routes have been very busy with Valentine's Day coming up. First- and second-graders come in early on Monday mornings, put on their official shirts or jackets, grab their mailbags, then head off to Tufted Puffin Place, Toucan Alley and Bald Eagle Boulevard to collect mail. Then, upon returning to the postal station, they check addresses, stamp the mail, sort it and make their deliveries.
