Sileby: Magistrates in the Community was the subject for speaker Peter Morell at the January meeting of Sileby Townswomen's Guild. Giving details of the work of magistrates and the different courts they can sit in, he then turned the tables on members.

Divided into groups, they were given sheets of paper with a case details on, and had to decide if the person was guilty or not, and what sentence they would give.

This created a lot of discussion and laughter.

A picture quiz was held during the coffee break.

Members are looking forward to a meal at The Hunting Lodge in Barrow.
