ENGLEWOOD -- There used to be a garbage dump where high-priced condos now sit on Manasota Key. Grass Roots Gallery on West Dearborn Street used to be a drugstore. And the Lemon Bay Women's Club clubhouse on the corner of Maple and Cocoanut is the only building in Englewood listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
