Makati City creates bird flu task force.

To effectively curb unfounded rumors about the dreaded bird flu virus that could cause needless panic among city residents, Makati City Mayor Jejomar C. Binay ordered the creation of a task force that would focus on keeping the public properly informed about the virus and, should the need arise, implement control measures to prevent it from spreading in the community.
