(SUBS: PICK UP WHERE NEEDED) The Department of Health on Thursday night made a last-minute call on the SA Medical Association (SAMA) to cancel its march to Parliament. SAMA said it would march on Friday afternoon to protest the declining state of public health services. Said Health Ministry spokesman Sibani Mngadi: "SAMA leaders still have enough time to call off the march and participate in constructive partnership with the department to improve health services and working environment for all health professionals.
