WASHINGTON -- Hormone replacement therapy improves sexual response in women well past menopause and into their 80s, Dr. Bernard A. Eskin said at an international symposium on women's health and menopause.
In a study of 67 postmenopausal women aged 53-82 years, those who took hormone replacement therapy (HRT) reported improved sexual desire, arousal, and satisfaction, compared with those who didn't take HRT, said Dr. Eskin of Allegheny University of the Health Sciences, Philadelphia.
