TWO prominent writers are writing columns for the Philippine Daily Inquirer beginning this week.
The two are Juan "Johnny" Mercado, a veteran journalist and former communications officer of the United Nations, and Manuel Quezon III, former presidential assistant for historical affairs and former columnist and editorial writer of another newspaper.
Mercado's column, called "Viewpoint," will appear in the Inquirer twice a week. Quezon's column, "The Long View," will also be published twice a week.
