SYDNEY, Feb 3 Asia Pulse - Australian building approvals likely fell for a second consecutive month in December as the housing market came off the boil, according to economists.

The December building approvals report will be released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics today and most economists expect a small decline.

Forecasts from economists surveyed by AAP range from no change in approvals to a 2.8 per cent decline, seasonally adjusted, compared with the 6.7 per cent decline in November.
