Overshadowed by teammate LeBron James, Carlos Boozer, who recently had back-to-back 32-point games, has had a productive second year in the league, averaging 13.7 points and 10.8 rebounds.
TSN: You seem to move better without the ball than most big guys. Does that come from playing for Mike Krzyzewski at Duke?
CB: Definitely. I had creative players on my team--Jason Williams, Chris Duhon and other guys. Those guys can break plays and be creative, so when they have the ball, you have to recognize that and get into a spot where you create a passing angle for them. Same thing here. LeBron and Dajuan Wagner have that creative ability, so if you move without the ball, they'll find you.
TSN: Has Paul Silas put an imprint on you personally?
CB: He has given me tips on rebounding: how to position my body, how to get the rebound off of just moving my feet, doing things he used to do as a player. He was so technical. He had a perfect ability to box people out. And he would always get the rebound with two hands. Things like that make you a terrific rebounder.
TSN: Is LeBron James 19 years old?
CB: (Laughs) He does not play like a 19-year-old. He has a great deal of passion; he has a great deal of excitement. That is something we admire.
