When it comes to the NBA, the East long ago went south, but Indy and Detroit just might be worthy of being mentioned with the best in the West. Put them together, and they broke even against the Lakers, Spurs, Mavs, Kings and T-wolves through the first dozen weeks. But the hard part is telling them apart.
