IRISH Minister for Agriculture and Food, Joe Walsh, has announced his intention to "revaluate and reassess the strategy for forestry.''

Speaking at a forestry symposium in Bandon, Co Cork, Mr Walsh (left) said that the forestry agenda extended into many and diverse areas of Irish social and economic life particularly in the rural areas.
