BOTOLAN, Zambales-At least 11 people were killed while 20 others suffered injuries after two Victory Liner buses collided along the highway in Barangay Santiago here on Saturday morning.

Senior Insp. Alex Fulgar, town police chief, identified the fatalities as Dennis Bueno, his wife Gina and their 10-year-old child Justin; Numeriano Manabat, driver of one of the buses; and passengers Romeo Nakar, Armando de la Isla, Raul Montes, Sheila Aquino, Charmie Mauricio, Maylene Trias and Jocylin Realino.

Reports said eight of the victims, including driver Manabat, died instantly.
