PRIVATE water concessionaires are zeroing in on leaking pipes and illegal water lines which, they said, have been contributing greatly to the decline of Metro Manila's water resource.
Joel Lacsamana, director for corporate communications of Manila Water Corporation Inc., said that at least 51 percent of their supply are going to waste because of the faulty pipes and illegal connections.
