Byline: Luige del Puerto
THE POLICE on Friday were only out to serve an arrest warrant to a ranking police official accused of bigamy.
Instead, they found an arsenal of high-caliber firearms in the Pasig City residence of Chief Insp. Ruperto Regis.
The police, however, failed to arrest Regis during the raid.
Regis reportedly owns a private security agency. He is said to be on floating status in the Philippine National Police.
"So far, we have not seen any paper to support the claim (that Regis owns a security outfit)," said Insp. Jovita Iquin, the chief investigator of the Pasig police.
