The revitalisation of Civic's City West precinct will get a major boost in April when the ACT Government releases a prime building site for another office block on London Circuit. Currently a dirt car park between the Rydges Lakeside hotel and the Law Society Building, the Section 61 site is bounded by Gordon Street and Marcus Clark Street with the proposed National Information and Communications Technology centre next door in Farrell Place. Announcing the proposed sale, Planning Minister Simon Corbell said the release was part of a strategic vision unveiled as the City West master plan last September.
