The Project Group Inc. (OTCBB:PJTG), the world's leading integrator of Microsoft(R) Project and provider of business initiative services to federal, state and local governmental agencies, announced today it has been engaged by the Delaware State Police (DSP) to provide advisory services related to the implementation of Enterprise Project Management with Microsoft's Project 2003.
This implementation, largely supported by the Delaware First State Quality Improvement Fund, provides the continuing development of the DSP-STAT Program which was initiated two years ago and modeled after the ComStat program pioneered by the New York City Police Department. The STAT concept, based upon the principles of Accurate and Timely Intelligence, Effective Tactics and Strategies, Rapid Deployment of Resources and Relentless Follow-Up and Assessment, has proven to be highly effective in governmental organizations country-wide, improving the efficiency of municipal services, reducing the costs and making government more accountable to citizens.
