THE COMMISSION on Elections and the consortium which won the voided P1.3-billion automated counting machine contract for the May elections yesterday asked the Supreme Court to reconsider its Jan. 13 decision.

The motions for reconsideration were filed separately by the Comelec and Mega Pacific Corp., the consortium that won the contract only to be voided by the Supreme Court.

In its 97-page motion, Mega Pacific Corp., through lawyer Alfredo Lazaro Jr., also asked the court to admit his exhibits in a bid to refute the court's findings, to set a date for the hearing …
