BANJA LUKA, Jan. 22 (ONASA) - Republika Srpska National Assembly started a discussion of proposed changes to the RS Constitution, which foresee Banja Luka as the capital of the RS, instead of Srpsko Sarajevo.

Parliament speaker Dragan Kalinic presented a report of the Constitutional Issues Board, which upheld the amendments.

Party of Democratic Action requested that a referendum on the capital be announced, while Kalinic said that their proposal will be discussed after a discussion of the amendments. The Serb Democratic Party said …
