Byline: After a decade of change, the chief executive of a global giant reveals why his business is booming
AS he prepares to present his tenth annual results, Exel chief executive John Allan can reflect on a decade of change in global logistics, writes Rogr Hailey .
Mr Allan's first six presentations were as boss of Ocean Group, which merged four years ago with Exel to produce a UK-based international logistics giant whose 2003 revenues are expected to nudge GBP5bn ($9.2bn), according to analyst expectations.
Those same commentators have speculated what Exel will do with an exceptional cash windfall of some $50m in 2003 and a further shareholding worth a potential $130m.
