LOS ANGELES -- Twenty years after the athletic and organizational success of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, youngsters throughout Southern California continue to benefit from the financial surplus generated by the Games. The Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles (AAF) Board of Directors today announced $1,203,958 in grants to 24 organizations. Since inception in 1985, the Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles (AAF) has invested more than $140 million in youth sports and sport education programs in Southern California.

Kids In Sports (KIS), the Southern California Tennis Association, and Toberman Settlement House are among the organizations receiving a total of $1,203,958 in grants from the AAF.
