* Why do they vote for the Heisman Trophy winner before the season is over? In Oklahoma's last two games, Jason White looked like the worst quarterback in NCAA football.

* The LSU Tigers are fooling themselves by thinking they split the national championship. They are a great team, but they were voted champions based on a contract between the coaches and the BCS. LSU's title is tainted.

* To whoever made the decision to publish two different covers for the January 12 issue: I find it reprehensible that you would discount what the Tigers did on the field this season.
