Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on the president, Gen Pervez Musharraf, in Ankara and exchanged views with him on bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual interest; including Pakistan-India relations, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Cyprus. The two leaders referred to the close and cordial relations between the two countries and expressed confidence that these would be further strengthened to the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
