Nesco deep fryers Mesh filter in cover could allow moisture to collect in oil reservoir, causing oil to boil over and pose burn hazard.
Products: 47,000 deep fryers sold 5/01 to 10/03 at discount department stores and online for about $55. Recalled models include DF-250T, DF-1250T and DF-1250TL. Fryers are stainless steel with black plastic top and handles on either side. The model number is printed on back of product. There have been eight reports of incidents, including one in which person suffered burns requiring medical attention.
