After you've repainted a white ceiling, you're apt to see spots--spots, that is, of old paint you've failed to cover. Our tests found that two new paints made just for ceilings, Glidden EZ Track and Ace Simply Magic, virtually eliminate that blotchy look and the need for annoying touch-ups.
Both paints are dyed (pink for Glidden, blue for Ace) so that you can see what you've covered and what you've missed as you're painting. The dyes fade as the paints dry; in our tests, that took about a half-hour for the Glidden and three hours for the Ace.
