Product: Hershey's sugar-free candies
Hershey's has new candies for people who have a sweet tooth but want to avoid sugar. We tasted three--bite-sized bars in milk and dark chocolate and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Miniatures--to see how much they resemble the with-sugar originals.
The sugar-free dark chocolate came closest. It has a fairly smooth texture and the bittersweet character that dark-chocolate lovers seek. By contrast, the peanut butter cups were not as peanutty or chocolatey as the originals. The sugar-free milk chocolate was somewhere in the middle: OK, but nothing exceptional.
