fnWEB - Bangkok - January 16, 2004 - Sales of cars and trucks in Thailand rose 37 per cent in 2003, according to a report from Toyota Motors (Thailand).

In 2003 a total of 533,000 cars and trucks were sold, up 37 per cent from the year before. Passenger car sales rose 42 per cent to 179,000 units while pickup truck sales grew to 309,000 units.
