Wouldn't it be great to be stuck in an elevator with a search consultant and an eager younger administrator, whose combined advice could help you feel better about yourself and your values, and propel you into a successful administrative career?

Two women have collaborated to do just that ... without the elevator. Nancy Archer Martin has such extensive experience as a search consultant that she's now known as the Academic Executive Coach. She created the Educational Management Network in 1985, which in 1998 merged with Witt/Kieffer, where she is a senior VP. (See WIHE, April 2003.)
