TOKYO (CBS.MW) -- Sony's American unit announced plans late Wednesday to launch an online music service in the United States in the spring of 2004.
In a statement, Sony Corp. of America said its new Connect service will allow consumers to buy music online and download it on to Sony portable devices such as advanced Walkman players.
