A controversial proposal to change the start times for Manzano High School and several schools in the East Mountains has been shelved.
None of the Albuquerque Public Schools, including those in the East Mountains, will be changing their start times at least for the coming school year, APS spokesman Rigo Chavez said Monday.
"Manzano High School cluster leaders said they didn't know if the Manzano cluster would consider the change again next year," Chavez said.
