Sixt AG, the German car rental company, has said that its discount subsidiary, Sixti, is now set to achieve a net profit a year earlier than originally anticipated. The subsidiary was launched at the end of May, and is expected to achieve a turnover of around 3.5m euros during its first year. Shares in Sixt have increased in value by over 50 per cent since the discount subsidiary was launched.
