WHO says Kabayan has not done anything as a senator? According to his supporters, the President's running mate has been authoring bills in the Senate at the frantic pace of, well, one every 15 months.
Supporters of Sen. Noli "Kabayan" de Castro yester-day tried to counter criti-
cism that the broadcaster had failed to accomplish anything substantial in his first two and a half years in the Senate. But they only served to draw attention to De Castro's meager production.
"He has worked on bills for overseas Filipino workers and their livelihood upon their return from abroad and for senior citizens' welfare," said Isko Catibayan, spokesperson for the Kabayan for Vice President Movement, in a telephone interview.
