is over, I try to be a good father. I take my son to school
every day and bring him back. I make sure he does good on his
school work.
SPORTS HERO WHEN I WAS YOUNG: Orlando Cepeda. I've been fortunate
enough to get to know him. I played in junior college with
his son.
PEOPLE WHO INFLUENCED ME THE MOST/WHY: It would be my parents.
They came from Cuba and had a tough time getting out of
there. My mom was pregnant with me when they left. I grew up in
Sacramento, California.
BEST ADVICE ANYONE EVER GAVE ME: To always work hard and know you have
the same opportunity as anyone else. Always go hard and never give up.
