SEOUL, Jan 1 Asia Pulse - Fair Trade Commission Chairman Kang Chul-kyu has predicted that 2004 will be important as the first year to push forth a three-year road map on market reforms.

In a statement outlining the goals for the commission in the new year, Kang said that improvements on chaebol (family owned conglomerates) investment limits and enhancing disclosure rules for ownership will be top priorities in the new year.
