SLIGHT IMPROVEMENT IN PMR EXAM RESULTS.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 29 (Bernama) -- The analysis of the Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) 2003 examination results announced today shows a slight improvement with a 0.2 per cent increase in the number of candidates scoring grade A in all subjects, to 19,608 compared with 17,994 last year.

Director-General of Education Datuk Abdul Rafie Mahat said that 28 schools achieved outstanding results. They are 13 fully residential schools, nine government day schools, two state government secondary schools, two national religious schools, a Mara Junior Science College (MRSM) and a private school.
