HELSINKI (AFX) - Italian shipping group Grimaldi has offered to buy out the other shareholders of Finnlines after raising its stake in the Finnish shipping company to 46.2 pct this morning.

Grimaldi unit Grimaldi Compagnia di Navigazione SpA said it will make a voluntary offer of 15.95 eur per share in cash for the remainder of the company it does not already own.

That price equates to the highest price it has paid for shares in Finnlines in the last six months, it said. …
