Trading at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) is expected to be quiet in the last two trading days of the year since most equity investors are still out of the market and enjoying the holidays.

While the absence of bad news during the Christmas break can bring good tidings, the lack of market-moving news may also mean flat trades for the stock market.

Despite the expected lull, analysts said the market is still poised for an upside because of the traditional yearend window dressing which boosts stock prices of listed firms.
