The raging controversy over the potency and efficacy of the oral polio vaccine in Nigeria has finally been put to rest. At a press briefing, the Health Minister, Professor Eyitayo Lambo said the tests to prove the safety and potency of the oral polio vaccine was carried out under the auspices of all stakeholders.

Tests have already been accepted by the expert committee members set up by the Supreme Council of Sharia, Katsina State, Kaduna State government, Kano State government, ministerial independent experts, including National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).…
