Zagreb, December 23 (MTI) - The new Croatian Prime Minister, Ivo Sanader, on Tuesday called for as frequent meetings with his Hungarian counterpart as possible.
"Good neighbourly and friendly relations between Hungary and Croatia have traditionally been exemplary, and there are no pending issues that would burden bilateral ties," Sanader told MTI's correspondent after his government took the oath of office.
He said this was why he did not specially mention Hungary when discussing Croatia's neighbours (Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia) in his programme submitted to the National Assembly.
