Budapest, December 23 (MTI) - Laszlo Kover, a senior opposition Fidesz politician, on Tuesday said the foreign minister had misunderstood his remarks made about Transylvanian autonomy efforts because "he lacks a healthy Hungarian soul".
"Foreign Minister Laszlo Kovacs has again taken the stand of the Romanian majority politicians, instead of lending his support to the Transylvanian autonomy efforts and representing the Hungarian national interests as party chairman and particularly as foreign minister," Kover said in an interview with the Index Internet newspaper.
